QUELLING CARD!!!

Here is my first ever quelling card!!!! hope you get some ideas to start your work.....
Happy QUELLING!!! :)

This is my first ever quelling card i have made. Here's a snapshot of the same which seems to be under process.
         All you need is:

  • Glue.
  • Pair of Scissors.
  • Quelling paper strips.
  • and ..a lot of PATIENCE!!!!!

Quelling flowers could be easy, but not alphabets. I have tried this way and it came out well.
Firstly, take small strips of quelling paper such that it could fit into the area you want to paste.

Secondly, apply glue over the portion you want to paste the alphabet as shown below and quell the paper accordingly with the help of scissors.

So, this is the final out come of my "patience"...my first quelling experience!!!!!
A BIRTHDAY CARD!!! ...

Painting tips!!!

This is a sample article all about a few painting tips.... to follow when you paint!! :)
-all you need is a BRUSH!!!..
-A piece of cloth
-A white sheet
-colors! :) ( as usual)
#1
When you take color, just make sure that the consistency is not too thick. so that you can spread it up easily.
#2
For painting a drawing full of patterns or design, its pretty hard to paint up the background. In such a case, paint up the background first with a pretty light shade of your choice and then start painting up the patterns over it starting from top to bottom.(so that you don't smudge the colors with your hands).
#3
Best tip for spreading:
Use a DAB brush...do not take color each and every time you paint up! dip the tip of brush in water, and spread the color as far as possible.
#4
when you're into a still life, be particular about the colors, shades and shadows of the objects.try to make it look realistic, with parts of white at the portion, from where the rays are cast.
